Lunch Lady
As we are getting ready to start school again this year, these books have been on rotation in our house! Despite the fact that we homeschool, conversations among D and her friends have been about what they are looking forward to, apprehensive about and what the hope to learn next year. I love hearing these conversations as you can just hear the excitement!
This series of 10 books are hilarious stories that show the adventures of a Lunch Lady who is a super sleuth who solves mysteries at the school. They are set in a beginning graphic novel style and are easy to read for reluctant readers. The designed age group is for 6-9 which I do feel is pretty accurate. The kids at the top of the age range will probably fly through the books but still find them enjoyable! Definitely worth checking out!
